How should your copy update?

Recommended: pin a version

Content under /v0.1.2/… never changes, so a new library release cannot unexpectedly alter your page. When you are ready to upgrade, replace the version number in the URL.

Use only the latest foundations

/css, /tokens, and /colors follow the newest stable release automatically. Browse colors at /colors, or use the CSS and JSON files directly.

Use the latest complete version

/latest/… always follows the newest stable release. It works well for examples, personal pages, and projects that welcome automatic updates; pin a version for important applications.

Not sure which one to choose?

Use /v0.1.2/… for a production project and /latest/… for a prototype or showcase. Browser and edge caches may make latest updates appear a little later, but pinned URLs are unaffected.

Find versions and upgrade

See every version

Open the root /manifest.json to find every available version and its manifest URL.

Upgrade when you choose

After confirming that a new version fits your needs, replace the version number in your asset URL.

Keep using older versions

Every exact version remains available independently, so pages that are not ready to upgrade can keep their existing URL.
